State Rep. Ann Bollin today reinforced her commitment to government efficiency, announcing that she returned 6.8% of her 2025 office budget allotment back to the state of Michigan. This represents about $12,000 in savings from the budget state representatives are allotted to operate their legislative office and manage district affairs.
Since first taking office, Bollin has returned more than $56,000 in taxpayer dollars back to the state, highlighting her dedication to fiscal responsibility.
“Being a good steward of taxpayer dollars means constantly asking whether every expense is truly necessary,” Bollin said. “By returning part of my office budget, I’m putting that principle into action and showing that responsible budgeting starts with us. Michigan families work hard for their money, and their government officials must treat those dollars with care, discipline, and respect.”
Residents in need of assistance with state government services or wishing to share their opinions on pending legislation are encouraged to contact Bollin’s office at (517) 373-7515 or by email at [email protected].
